“We have been using this programme (English and Afrikaans) for the past 19 years through the different names -Wake Up Genius, World Read and Power Education and now Readers are Leaders. We have been extremely pleased with the results that the learners have achieved in all areas especially with the Comprehension section – some of whom have added two years to their score on the Neale Analysis of Reading Ability Test in 7 months and also shown an improvement in their school results.
It is important that the Educator is present with the child working on the programme. Miss Livesey-Goldblatt has been the Computer Educator and has worked extensively with this programme and developed many ways of using it successfully.”
